Overview
Reimagining digital creativity beyond sight
Accessible Canvas is a multisensory digital art experience designed for visually impaired creators. Instead of relying on visual interfaces, the system combines voice guidance, semantic navigation, Apple Pencil interaction, and AI-assisted feedback to make digital drawing more accessible while preserving creative freedom.
Digital art depends on vision
Most digital drawing applications assume users can continuously see the canvas, understand spatial relationships, and interpret visual feedback. For visually impaired creators, this creates barriers to orientation, composition, and independent creative expression.
Solution
Accessible Canvas combines conversational AI, semantic navigation, audio feedback, and object recognition into a guided creative workflow, allowing users to create and understand digital artwork without depending on sight.
